Don’t think that Hanan Turk will keep her Hijab on? Well, think again, because she’s not willing to take it off, not even for movie role. She says the Hijab could be turned into something positive in movies. She continues to say that wearing the Hijab for her is something normal, and if a person feels uncomfortable with that, then he/she can simply change the channel!

Hanan has a new movie on the way called “Al Okht Theresa” or “Sister Theresa”. The movie speaks about the relationship between Muslims and Christians in Egypt. Hanan wants her fans and critics to judge her based on her acting only and not criticize her because of her Hijab.

This comes after Hanan was brutally criticized after her role in “Awlad Shawaree” or “Street Kids”, in which she shocked her audience with her Hijab. In her last series “Hanem Bent Basha”, her fans were used to her wearing the Hijab, and thus focused on the real Hanan and her acting skills.

After rumors circulated that Hanan wore the Hijab for financial benefits, the actress denied those reports saying that she doesn’t need the money. She’s trying to do something positive on television by wearing the Hijab. She added that she is looking for real characters to play and that fit with the idea of the Hijab.

Her fans should only judge her on her acting, it’s not what she’s wearing or what she believes in, it’s her acting that people need to focus on, don’t you guys think so too?
